Our client is a worldwide manufacturer and solutions provider with over 22 locations, that provides small precision stamping, molding, plating and assembly services to OEM's through out the world. The company provides parts to the automotive, electronics, industrial, communications, semiconductor and other industries. Parts made go into switch assemblies, LED assemblies, engine controls, pressure sensors, Glucose monitors, shielding, antennas etc.
Our client works with the customers on developing and designing solutions to meet the customer's applications needs as well as will work to build parts and assemblies to customers predetermined specifications.

| Requirements: |
Experience required is an Engineering degree or similar discipline with minimum 5 years application product development / design experience in small parts, assemblies for connectors, switches and modules or similar technology.
The candidate must have experience working directly with customers in developing solutions to application requirements. A thorough understanding of the manufacture and material selection of plastic molded and over-molded parts, small precision non-ferrous metal parts and high-speed progressive die stamping required.
Automotive experience preferred.
The candidate must demonstrate an aptitude for creative thinking, be a self-starter, and a quick study who can work independently within broad guidelines.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers, suppliers and internal employees in both in written and oral form.
Minor CAD capability for the purpose of generating concept solution proposals to customers is a plus.
Creative application development from a broad perspective and identifying and communicating market or product trends is required.
